Ybor City Society Wine Bar: A Cozy Haven for Wine Lovers

The type of place to go to if you're having a bad day (& if you love wine, like me). The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to help (shoutout to Caitlyn & Devin). They will ask what types of wines you like and then assist you with choosing an ideal wine for you. I tasted a few different wines before settling on one and there wasn't one sample that I did not like. If you're in the mood for food they will provide the perfect pairing to your wine of choice. Highly recommended for all my winos!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Society Wine Bar for a wine tasting with my close friends, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, Denise, affectionately known as "Bubbles," made us feel right at home with her warm and personable demeanor. Her nickname suits her perfectly, as she exudes a bubbly spirit that resonates with everyone. Bubbles' expertise in wine and food pairings was truly impressive. She provided detailed explanations and guided us through each tasting with enthusiasm and charm. It elevated our experience and made it all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere at Society Wine Bar is inviting and perfect for a relaxed evening with friends. It was more than just a wine tasting – it was a delightful adventure that we'd all love to relive. I can't express enough gratitude for the hospitality we received. For anyone considering a visit, Society Wine Bar is an absolute must-do. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or just curious, you're in for a treat. A definite must do when in Tampa.

Review is overdue since we were there on March 11th. Walking around Ybor City trying different locations we came across Ybor City Society Wine Bar and decided to stop in. Very glad we did. A small wine bar with a nice cozy atmosphere. We decided to order the 2 White and 2 Red wine sampler. A great deal at $20 each. Our servers were very knowledgeable asking what our wine preferences were and then selecting a wine based upon that. Every wine we tried was very good. We also struck up a conversation with a local couple sitting along side of us. They were also very nice and helpful. And, I was totally surprised when she gave me one of her his husband’s recently purchased cigars. If you’re ever in Ybor City, I highly recommend stopping in.

An elegant spot, and just me in here early on a Monday (quietest day of the week according to Denise behind the bar). That was great for me as it had been a long day after a long flight. I had the small cheese board and a couple of glasses of lovely Viognier from USA. Decent music playing and Denise knows her wine and is a very happy, charming host. Wine is for sale to take out too and a local group came into do just that with expert advice from Denise. I’m still sat here whilst posting.

This wine bar exceeded me and my friend’s expectations! Such a lovely environment, Denise aka bubbles has set the bar so high, I’m not sure if I’ve ever had service like hers ANYWHERE! She made this an EXPERIENCE! This was more than a lovely day out with my girls, this was an EXPERIENCE! From the warm brie on the cheese board drizzled in honey, to the pairing recommendations…the flights…EVERYTHING 10/10! We will be back, especially to see bubbles!!!!

We had a decent time at this establishment. It is a fairly easy to find business right in the Centro Ybor entrance. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. Indoors it is very tiny, they have a lot of outdoor seating though, but a lot of the chairs were chained to the tables. The man assisting us was friendly and helpful with recommendations. I tried the Cava Brut sparkling champagne as well as an organic natural red wine; I enjoyed both very much. Tye red wine was very smooth and easy to drink with nice floral notes. They only had one organic wine there which was unfortunate because that is what I drink and that is what I had. Anyhow, as for food options they can not accommodate gluten allergies for Celiacs specifically. They said everything is likely to be cross contaminated. My husband got the small cheese board for 20.00$. It was decent and fairly priced. It wasn't the best that I've ever had, but for the price it was decent. It had everything you would expect to have in it such as 2 types of meat, I believe 4 types of cheese, pickles, nuts, and some other things. I would recommend this spot if you enjoy wine. They have a wine Club and great discounts on wine certain days. A lot of the glasses of wine were between 10 and 13.00$ which also was great. I saw one, the Ybor wine was as low as 7.00$ We had a nice experience.

Denise "BubbLes" is incredibly knowledgeable and know hor to treat the client. Service was excellent, se was handling seceral parties on her and we never felt neglected, There is a great selection of wines and the bites from the menu are exquisitely presented. There are Weds night tastings and also a membership. Great outdoor seating to watch the show go by.

Went to the ybor wine society and had so much fun! Denise was so engaging and really made our experience memorable! Don't miss this wine bar!
